Due to this in depth experience, it has become almost second nature for us to both assimilate and harmonize all the elements of what a successful exhibition entails. In conjunction with the most renowned Museums, Castles and exhibition places throughout Europe, along with the lesser well known ones, we have been organizing very successful exhibitions for over 20 years. In the 21st century torture is prohibited under international law and the domestic laws of most countries as a violation of human rights. Torture has been carried out or sanctioned by individuals, groups and states throughout history from ancient times to present day. The exhibition has been showcased over the last 20 years throughout Europe. It houses hundreds of Medieval-era torture contraptions and tools of the trade, such as spiked metal clubs, spiked neck and ankle bracelets, curved swords used. The approximately 6,000-square-foot multilevel museum is squeezed in between the Museum of Illusions and the famed Hollywood Wax Museum. Besides cognitive virtues it entails deep reflection and it encourages the audience to take a second view of the human nature. Medieval Torture Museum explores painful history. It includes more than 50 exhibits with illustrations and descriptions and is displayed with great visual impact. The exhibition displays the story of instruments and practices used in Medieval history and beyond (from 16th until 19th century) in Western Europe to extract information from those suspected of wrongdoing. These include famous contraptions such as the Interrogation Seat, the Witches Chair, the Rack and the notorious Iron Maiden. It includes displays of over 50 reconstructions of instruments that were collected by private collectors and historians in Germany, Poland, Italy and Spain. The device was typically a large wagon wheel with radial. The exhibition came into being through the efforts of the Italian historic association Associazione Ricercatori Storici from Verona.
